About me

My name is Sara Shokofan, and movement has always been an essential part of my life. From an early age, I embraced an active lifestyle, exploring different forms of training and physical activity. For me, true well-being is about balance—enjoying life’s pleasures while nurturing the body through movement and care.

My journey into chiropractic care began after a sports injury from Thai boxing. Seeking relief, I was treated by a chiropractor and was immediately fascinated by the body’s ability to heal through hands-on techniques. This experience ignited a passion within me, leading me to pursue chiropractic studies. A year later, I enrolled at the Scandinavian Chiropractic School and became a certified chiropractor in 2011.

While my roots are in Stockholm, where I grew up and built my practice, I have also lived and worked in Denver, gaining valuable experience and broadening my perspective on health and rehabilitation.

Even today, I continue to explore new and effective methods to help the body achieve its optimal well-being. My mission is to combine my expertise with the latest techniques to support your journey toward better movement, health, and vitality..

My philosophy

I believe true healing begins with listening—to your body, to the discomfort you experience, and to the signals it gives you. My role is to guide you in understanding these signals so that you can take ownership of your health and move toward optimal well-being. This journey includes everything from breathwork to simple yet effective exercises that can improve your daily life.

The body has an incredible ability to store stress and compensate for pain, often without us even realizing it. That’s why I take a holistic approach, seeing each person as a whole—physically, emotionally, and functionally.

To me, health is not just the absence of illness but the optimal function of all systems in the body. That’s why treatment is a partnership. I guide you and help your body along the way, but true, lasting change comes when you take an active role in your own well-being.

The way I work

My goal is not only to relieve pain but also to restore movement and build resilience. In addition to manual adjustments, which help improve joint mobility and nervous system function, I focus on strengthening the body through movement and corrective exercises. By incorporating dry needling, cupping, kinesiology taping, and specific training, we activate and support the body's natural healing process while enhancing stability and performance.

True well-being is not just about feeling better in the moment—it’s about creating long-term strength, balance, and function. Together, we work toward optimal health by addressing both the underlying causes of discomfort and the tools needed to prevent future issues.
